Abaddon (Hero guide)

Melee - Support - Carry -  Durable

Mist Coil

Abaddon releases a coil of deathly mist that can damage an enemy unit or heal a friendly unit at the cost of some of Abaddon's health.

Aphotic Shield

Summons dark energies around an ally unit, creating a shield that absorbs a set amount of damage before expiring. When the shield is destroyed it will burst and deal damage equal to the amount it could absorb to an area around it. Removes certain types of negative buffs and stuns on cast.

Curse of Avernus

Abaddon strikes an enemy with chilling curse on each attack, causing all units who attack the slowed enemy to gain increased movement speed, along with faster attack speed, for a limited time.

Borrowed Time(ultimate)

When activated, all damage dealt to you will heal instead of harm. Most negative buffs will also be removed. If the ability is not on cooldown, it will automatically activate if your health falls below 400. Upgradable by Aghanim's Scepter.

Dota 2 Guide

Looking for some Dota 2 Tips or tricks Then come and see.

For Russians

Dota 2 is a very complex game and it requires time to master the techniques. There are many things you need to know before jumping into a battle otherwise you will just say the game sucks.

Every one has there own playing style so first tip is choose a role first and start your training in it. You can play against bots for starters if you are new. Learning about heroes and items is kind of the key factor to win a game. You can check this guide to start. good luck
Dota 2 is not a joke its Life for us gamers,
If anyone dont know how to play dota then just read these things you will understand your first step and start with this and try these as a support hero.

1.When are you Trying to Escape Practice Juking around trees.

2. Always stick to your role. E.g playing support means you will buy wards as soon as the come off cool down irrespective of your desire to get a big item.
3. Don't go Rambo mode into 3+ heroes.
4. Count your disables and chain them instead of casting everything at the same time.
5. Consult your team before using glyph.
6. Always protect the carry.
7. Don't rage quit.
8. Practice last hitting because without farm you are useless for your team.(most Important)
9. communicate well with your team mates i.e signal missing enemies, runes etc.
10. Know when to retreat or engage in a team fight.
11. Know your role, picking a support hero isn't a bad thing u should know how to play with all the heroes.. there is a lot to explore ;)
12. Last but not the least enjoy your game and be nice to everyone :D

12. And Buy wards.(support)
If there is nobody who buy ward, then you should. Ideally support buy the wards but it's not always happen in pub games. Probably they are broke, ignorant, stinky or just underestimate the power of this 150 gold item. A ward can save you from gank (200+ gold), discover possible gank (200+ gold), runes, roshan, and so many thing. That's all for just 150 gold or 3 creep kill.

Yes, buy wards even if you are carry. Of course this will delay your core item a bit, Unless you choose to delay your/your teammate's core item by being ganked, then you shouldn't buy this item at all. If you can buy TP (135 gold) without hesitation, then why can't you buy this 150 gold item?

I don't mean that you should become a 'ward-whore', just buy ward occasionaly when the time is right.

Most Important Things which you should know.

Always analyze your games. Don't just start new one immediately after.

Aspects to analyze:

1) Individual game (game style, item build,  skill build, map control, space creating etc.)

2) Teamplay (item builds, macro game skills, coordination, communication with teammates, ethics also have impact on the game)

Some useful tips:

1) Try different keyboard settings if you feel inconvenience.

2) Don't forget to carry teleport scroll with you. It isreally useful.

3) Proper communication is the basis of a pleasant,  good game. Even if you are angry with your teammate, relax and try to explain him/her his/her fault. No one is perfect.

4) Jot down important time markers (Roshan Death,  Ravage's cooldown).

5) Cultivate a habit to remember cooldowns of spells and their special effects.(duration of slow, stun etc.)

6) Don't afraid to ask for advice. Some players know that you don't and vice versa.

Easiest Way to win a game.

Learn the counters to every hero. Good team compositions win more DOTA matches than anything.

Note that I said counter, not hard counter. So for:
  • Drow counter with Timbersaw (close gap, hard to aim gust, generally shit abilities to counter).
  • Pudge counter with Huskar (rips off HP).
  • Huskar counter with Lina (teamfights drop lots of damage fast - nukes are Huskar's enemy).
  • If the enemy team contains all melees then you should counter with techies its the best because then they cant destroy their mines.(Still can be destroyed by necro book)
